ABOUT LOCI

David and the Collective members work with clients to capture ideas and aspirations and turn them into designs for spaces and places that evoke a positive response and strive for memorable landscape legacies in the public and private domain.

David is a master landscape architect with extensive expertise in high quality place design, incorporating green infrastructure and living architecture wherever possible. As founder of Loci Design Collective, he thrives on bringing together a network of independent experts on a needs basis for each project to collaborate on sustainable, climate-responsive, and progressive place-making.

With experience ranging from streetscapes, private gardens, living architecture, and community spaces, and a passion for holistic and connected place-making, Collective members come together to combine shared ideas for the best response landscape design response and purpose for the space.

In our planning process, we consider the changing nature of cities and communities and adapt plans to accommodate what our clients and eventual place users value. We also focus on addressing the climate crisis and on doing more with less resources and in increasingly under more challenging conditions. This adaptive design never ceases.

The ethos of the Collective is that every project, regardless of size, requires the same level of care and focus, and has the same potential for excellence. We invest ourselves fully to ensure that the finished environment is the best that it can be.
