Castle Apartments Sydney
This residential tower on Bathurst Street in Sydney was borne out of a public art concept by Maria Fernanda Cardoso of recreating a clifftop coastal bushland on top of a tower in the centre of Sydney. The bushland is created on landscape terraces that completely crown the building, 37 storeys up.
The building by Candalepas and Associates has been five years in planning and construction to ensure the planning, feasibilities and risks of a living tower are accounted for. The project is executed by Junglefy, who has also worked closely through the design process.
Castle Apartments will be a significant living tower contributing indigenous urban greenery to the Sydney skyline.
