Rhodes Lot 10 Elinya

The waterfront at Rhodes undertook urban renewal from heavy industrial to residential. Mirvac was one of the main development companies to build high-quality urban developments, with the landscape as a key marketing and project success component.

This project has a central courtyard focused on an Illawarra Flame Tree as the key landscape feature providing shade and drama. Paving throughout the space is porous to maximise the potential of all planting. Despite the landscape being over a carpark, it was cleverly designed to give the impression of appearing on grade, with mounding and generous planting to avoid planter walls as best as possible.
