88 Queen Street Public Domain Plan

Aland required the services of Imogen Miller Urban Design and Sydney Design Collective as lead urban designer and public domain strategy to prepare a Place Activation Strategy and Place Plan for Council DA purposes.

This Place Plan was developed to set a framework for the planning, designing, and activating the new precinct's public domain. Each Place Plan should be unique for the particular site identified, with the key aim to improve the place-making outcomes of the public domain for residents, local businesses and visitors. This Place Plan determines the physical infrastructure and the place activation programming in the Campbelltown setting and outlines the next steps required for successful implementation.

The outcome is a new cultural setting for play, music, events, social connection and city life in a dynamic, flexible and open public space that welcomes all users and allows for various and diverse events.
