72 Darling Point Road
This residence is a clever integration of external and internal spaces, with a dynamic façade creating pockets where the garden merges inside and the architecture out. External decks and floors extend from the house, and the lawn conversely extends undercover. The strong angled geometry of the building is reflected in the landscape design, which creates unique and dynamic gardens. The use of stone helps blur the definition between inside and out, with timber another material that graces both domains.
The planting design reflects this dynamic with the confident use of deciduous maples with subtropical vines and bromeliads.
